Mobile Software Tester

In this Mobile Software Tester position, your primary focus will be on verifying that mobile applications work correctly and meet quality standards. Success in this role requires familiarity with mobile platforms, testing methodologies, and the ability to thrive in a remote environment. Strong written communication and meticulous attention to detail are essential for clearly reporting any problems you discover.

Roles: Your day-to-day work involves installing applications on your personal smartphone or tablet, thoroughly evaluating each feature, and then documenting your findings in a detailed report that highlights what worked well and identifies any issues encountered.

Requirements: You must have at least one compatible device available for testing, such as an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.

Contract length: No fixed term

Rate: $35 per hour.

Skills/background needed:

Ownership of a smartphone or tablet with the ability to download and manage applications
Capacity to work self-sufficiently without constant oversight
Capability to carefully adhere to detailed testing protocols and guidelines
Minimum of 5 hours per week available to commit
Dependable broadband connection

Hours per week: Flexible.

Location: Work from anywhere with internet access, candidates based in the United States are preferred.
